The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
