The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
