The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
