The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
