Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
