The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
