The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
