The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
