The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 and drowned the others. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
