Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and drowned the others. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
