The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
