The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
