The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
