The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
