The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
