The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
