The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
