And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and drowned the others. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
