The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 and drowned the others. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
