The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
