The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
