The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
