The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
