The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
