Alshu'araa' 6 of 11
The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
