The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
