The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
