The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
