And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
