And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
