The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
