Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
