Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
