Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
