The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
