The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 therefore, judge decisively between me and them; and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
