Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
