Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
