The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
