The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
