Alshu'araa' 6 of 11
The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
