The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
