The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
