Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
