The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
