The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
