The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
