The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
