The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 and drowned the others. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
