I am a faithful messenger unto you, 125 So fear Allah and obey me. 126 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 127 Build ye on every high place a monument for vain delight? 128 "And do ye get for yourselves fine buildings in the hope of living therein (for ever)? 129 And whenever you apply force become tyrannical. 130 "Now fear Allah, and obey me. 131 And be careful of (your duty to) Him Who has given you abundance of what you know. 132 "Freely has He bestowed on you cattle and sons,- 133 "And Gardens and Springs. 134 Surely I fear for you the chastisement of a grievous day 135 They said, "Whether you preach to us or not, 136 This is not but the custom of the former peoples, 137 And we shall not be doomed. 138 So they gave him the lie, then We destroyed them. Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 139 And verily thy Lord? He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 140
